Change the tuning of your diagram

Using the sliders you will be able to set the number of strings and the tuning of your diagram.
Every function of the editor will take the tuning into account: notes names, degrees names, chords and scales generator and so on.

Change the tuning of a non-empty document

If you change the tuning of a non-epty document you can choose how you want the existing diagrams to be adapted:

Preserve notes
If you select 'preserve notes' the fret-markers will be moved up and down the strings to still play the same notes.

Preserve fingering
If you select 'preserve fingering' the fret-markers will not be moved, note names and degrees will change to reflect the new tuning.
