Before generating a scale

1) Use the root selector to select the root note of your scale.
2) Select the fretboard where you want the scale to be generated.
3) Make sure that the layer where you want the scale to be generated is selected.

Generating a scale

Choose a scale structure from the dropdown menu or manually input your structure in the degree selector, then click on 'generate scale'.

Generating a scale in a limited area of the fretboard

Use the sliders to limit the area that will be covered by the scale generator.
